I inspect the accessible major systems and components of the home, including the roof, exterior, attic, insulation, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, interior, and structure. I look for visible defects, safety concerns, and signs of needed maintenance so you can understand the home’s condition clearly.

You do not need to do much. I recommend making sure the utilities are on, all areas are accessible, and any pets are secured. If you’re the buyer, it also helps to attend the inspection so I can walk you through what I’m seeing in real time.

Yes, I encourage it. Being there gives you a chance to see the home up close, ask questions, and understand what I’m finding as I go. If you can’t stay for the full inspection, I’ll still make sure you get a clear summary of the important items.
